The Birth of a Website

I had no idea how difficult it would be to design an author website. A site that didn’t need to reflect the (many) themes within my stories, it needed to reflect ME. Who knew I could be so contradictory? While one part of me demanded drama and bold colors and serious, professional pictures, another part demanded something soft and frilly with smiles and sweet looks, while yet ANOTHER part said “look to nature” and use silly pictures of yourself pulling faces. Is this why I write? So that I can express the many conflicting facets of my personality in different characters and ease the pressures of conformity rather than yielding to them? I was once told by a very wise woman that I am always in two minds, “Will I? Won’t I?” were her exact words so here it is! Hopefully it appears to be a well balanced, not too quirky, look into my otherwise ordered and analytical mind.
